HTCS®-130 DCHot work steel with very high thermal conductivity (up to 62 W/m.K) combined with typical mechanical properties of high quality hot work tool steel. HTCS®-130DC features extreme purity, micro-cleanliness and very fine microstructure. Applications:
- Dies for die casting applications to reduce manufacturing costs by increasing the tool durability and process productivity along with a reduction of generated scrapes.
- Dies for plastic injection molding to reduce cycle time by decreasing cooling time. HTCS®-130DC also allows reducing scrapes by increasing the solidification rate and insuring a homogenous temperature distribution over the die cavity surface during the steady state production process.
- For any other application requiring very high thermal conductivity and high toughness.
- Annealed up to ~ 280HB
- 38÷52 HRc
