Forms part of the ROVALMA family of improved standard hot work tool steels modified by Rovalma to provide highest tool steel quality and performance at competitive cost. EFICAST® 3-ER is a high performance hot work steel with good mechanical properties at high temperature, high toughness and ductility, as well as high tempering resistance combined with good machinability and polishability. EFICAST® 3-ER features high purity and good level of micro-cleanliness.
