Forms part of the ROVALMA family of improved standard hot work tool steels modified by ROVALMA to provide highest quality. EFICAST® 3-RR features very high mechanical properties at high temperature, highest levels of toughness and ductility, as well as high tempering resistance combined with good machinability and very high levels of polishability. EFICAST® 3-RR features extreme purity and excellent level of micro-cleanliness.

Applications:

Tool, die and mold construction - die casting, extrusion, hot forging and plastic injection molding

Delivery Condition:

Annealed up to ~235HB

Typical Working Hardness Range:

32-53 HRc
