HTCS®-230
HTCS®-230 is a high performance hot work steel grade of ROVALMA’s high thermal conductivity tool steel family, combining high thermal conductivity with high mechanical properties, very high wear resistance, excellent through-hardenability, good machinability and very good polishing, coating and texturing properties - for detailed information please contact ROVALMA. HTCS®-230 provides outstanding dimensional stability during the precipitation hardening and thereby enables great opportunities to considerably reduce tool manufacturing costs and lead time to production.
Applications:
- Tool, die and mold construction – plastic injection and composite molding, hot stamping/ press hardening
Delivery Condition:
- Solubilized - requires precipitation hardening before usage
