HTCS®-233 is a high performance hot work steel grade of ROVALMA’s high thermal conductivity tool steel family, combining high thermal conductivity with excellent wear resistance, high mechanical resistance, good machinability and very good polishing, coating and texturing properties - for detailed information please contact ROVALMA. HTCS®-233 provides outstanding dimensional stability during the precipitation hardening and thereby enables great opportunities to considerably reduce tool manufacturing costs and lead time to production.


  • Tool, die and mold construction – plastic injection and composite molding, hot stamping/ press hardening

Delivery Condition:

  • Solubilized - requires precipitation hardening before usage

Typical Working Hardness Range:

  • 50-52 HRc
