FASTCOOL^®-20

FASTCOOL®-20 is a grade of ROVALMA’s high thermal conductivity tool steel family, supplied in prehardened condition of 400 ± 20 HB. The combination of high mechanical and thermal properties, good machinability and very good polishing and texturing properties of FASTCOOL®-20 offers excellent cost advantages for many industrial applications. For applications requiring lower hardness FASTCOOL®-20LH at 320 ± 40 HB is available.

Applications:

Tool, die and mold construction – low pressure and gravity die casting, plastic injection and composite molding, resin transfer molding, short series and prototyping of hot stamping

Delivery Condition:

Pre-hardened to 400±20 HB

Typical Working Hardness Range:

400±20 HB
