Applications:
- Cutting tools for very high duty applications
- Dies and punching tools for fine cutting (double acting), cutting of magnetic sheets, stainless steels, sheets coated with abrasive components, cold worked strips, thin sheets of high yield strength, abrasive fibers, paper, paperboard and tissues
- Dies and punching tools for stamping of stainless steel, aluminum, and other materials with a tendency to adhere to the tool, sheets with abrasive coatings, extruders and benders which need an extreme resistance to wear or that tend to scratch the piece
- Die plates for concrete, ceramics, powder metals, abrasive thermosets
- Tools that require an extreme resistance to abrasive and adhesive wear
Delivery Condition:
- Annealed up to ~300 HB
Typical Working Hardness Range:
- 62-67 HRc
